The Sport 18 will be the official wheel of the new race track car by the historic French brand.
EVO Corse has been chosen as the official supplier of the Alpine A110 Cup, the new car for track racing by the historic French brand, winner of the World Rally Champion in 1973 and of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1978.
The race car, armed with a precise chassis and a 270hp engine for a weight of 1,050kg (3.9kg/hp), mounts the new Sport 18 in 9×18” for the front axle and 10×18” for the rear axle. Sport 18, made of aluminum alloy with heat treatment T-6 and characterized by a design with 9 thin spokes ideal for track racing, will be part of the EVO Corse racing wheels catalog starting from March.
The new Alpine A110 Cup – developed and designed by Signatech – will be taking part in a mono-branded trophy named Alpine Europa Cup, which from next summer will visit six of the most important racetracks in Europe.
