PRESS RELEASE Padova (Italy), September 12 2007
AGREEMENT BETWEEN EVO CORSE AND FONDMETAL

An important commercial and technical partnership agreement was signed this August between the young and dynamic racing rim’s manufacturer "Evo Corse" and Fondmetal, a company loved by sports fans due to its glorious past in Formula 1, and well known to connoisseurs for the quality of its products.
Evo Corse has been active for a few years directly as a manufacturer, whereas it boasts a far deeper indirect experience in the racing segment. Their actual range of products offers all possible sizes of low-pressure cast aluminium wheels for rally and track use. The wheels are heat treated and 100% made in Italy, for maximum safety and top performance. The results have enabled Evo Corse to equip all Toyota S2000 vehicles and many of the winning cars in the various rally championships worldwide.

The Fondmetal group has been active since the early '70s in the foundry segment and currently includes several activities and companies, among which two moving-ground wind tunnels which provide advanced aerodynamic research to the most important Formula 1, AMLS and DTM teams.

The main activity of Fondmetal is the production of aluminium alloy wheels for both the aftermarket and the OEM, with their wheels OE-fitted to the most prestigious brands of cars.
"This agreement will enable us to expand the marketing of our products to countries where we currently have no sales network yet, and will produce successful synergies in the manufacture of our rims", explained eng. Meneghetti, managing director of Evo Corse.
"Our production will undoubtedly benefit from the experience on the racing fields, which will allow us to add prestige to our brand with a renewal of our sporting image", said Mr Rumi, president and managing director of Fondmetal.

From a logistic, commercial and production point of view, there will be no relevant changes in the current service for the moment, whereas all rims produced in September will be presented with a new graphics which will include the joined brands Evo Corse and Fondmetal.
For the near future, interesting technical innovations are foreseen, as well as a wider selection of products offered by both companies and synergies in communications and marketing.
